NextQuantum Fellow
NextQuantum Fellow
NextQuantum, the Hybrid Quantum Computing Center at Seoul National University, operates the NextQuantum Fellowship to strengthen global research competitiveness in the fields of quantum computing and quantum information science and technology. Fellows will be appointed as Postdoctoral Researchers or Research Professors and will receive comprehensive support to deepen their research capabilities through collaboration with the Center’s faculty, with the aim of achieving high-impact research outcomes.

Employment Conditions
The successful candidates will be appointed as a postdoctoral researcher or a research professor.
Period of appointment
Postdoctoral researcher: 2 years (renewable)
Research professor: 3 years (renewable)
Remuneration (before tax)
Postdoctoral researcher: KRW 60-80 million per year
Research professor: KRW 80-100 million per year
※ Plus an annual research support fee of KRW 10 million for participation in domestic and international conferences and other academic activities.
Workplace: Seoul National University
On-campus accommodations with modern facilities and reasonable rates are available for non-Korean researchers. Health and safety insurance and severance pay shall also be supported according to university regulations and employment laws.
